The Key to Landscaping

About The Key to Landscaping

Libertytown grew up along Liberty Road in eastern Frederick County, and its main street still passes old brick and clapboard houses that have stood through many hard winters. When snow blows across the open farmland around town, it gathers wherever the wind lets go: against hedgerows, in the lee of barns, across the end of every lane. The Key to Landscaping, a landscaping business, handles snow removal in Libertytown, digging out driveways and opening walks so the day can begin on schedule. There is real craft in a clean cut through a drift and a path shoveled square to the bottom step. On a gray January dawn, with the fields white clear to the horizon, a way home that is already open is a welcome sight.
