About Phillips Landscape Group

When a nor'easter swings up the coast, Clarksburg catches the inland edge of it — hours of heavy, wet snow that bends the pines and buries the upcounty grades, none steeper than the old hill at Hyattstown. Phillips Landscape Group plans for those nights like a campaign: trucks fueled at dusk, routes sequenced, the first pass run before the accumulation gets ahead of the blades. Then comes the long rhythm of a real storm — plow, circle back, plow again — until the sky closes out and the final pass leaves the pavement clean. Driveways, walks, entrances, salt at the end. The storm gets remembered; the trouble it should have caused does not.
