About Artistic Landscaping, Inc.

An old electric railway once ran through Lanham on its way from Washington toward Annapolis, and its bed is still out there in the trees, a straight green seam through a county that filled in around it. Artistic Landscaping, Inc. works the streets on either side of that line in both directions of the year. Summer means mowing, edging, and the trimmed border that makes a lawn look like someone decided where it should end. Winter means plowing and shoveling before daybreak, salt down on the walk, the driveway open while the porch light is still the brightest thing on the block. Lawn care and snow removal on ground that has been going somewhere for a long time.
