About Universal Lawn Creations

Saturday morning in Lake Arbor sounds like cardinals, a distant mower two streets over, and not much else before nine. Universal Lawn Creations puts that hour to use, laying down alternating passes so the light catches the grass one way going out and another coming back. Mowing, edging and trimming are the whole vocabulary, and a yard where the lines are straight, the borders are cut and the walks are blown clean says everything on its own. Through the humid stretch of a Maryland summer the turf gets fed and watched; come fall it gets seeded so the pattern still holds in the thin light of November. Every property is its own shape — a corner lot, a long drive, an island bed to work around — and none of them gets the same route twice. Lake Arbor, Mitchellville, Kettering, Largo and Bowie are on the map.
