About Davis Lawn Care & More LLC

La Vale lies in the long trough between Haystack Mountain and the ridges running down toward Cumberland, where the old National Road bends past the toll gate house and Braddock Run keeps to the low ground. Mountain grass grows on its own calendar — late to start, hard through a cool June, and green well past the point where flatter country has given up. Davis Lawn Care & More LLC works those yards with mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups, taking the slopes and the shaded pockets on their own terms. There is real satisfaction in a crisp border on a hillside lawn, the kind of line that makes a whole property sit up straight. Up here the sun clears the mountain a little later, which only means the day begins with a view.
