About Gardiner Lawn Service, LLC

There is one week most Novembers when the oaks along the old tobacco fields around La Plata decide together, and the yards fill to the ankles overnight. Gardiner Lawn Service, LLC spends it in leaf cleanup and the season's last mows, hauling out what the wind piled against the fence line, tightening every edge before the ground turns to iron. The rest of the year is mowing and trimming, the steady rhythm of a place where grass grows nine months out of twelve. Then the snow does come, and the trucks carry plows instead: driveways cleared, walks shoveled, salt down on the steps. A yard put to bed properly in November is a yard that comes back easy in March.
