About Chesapeake Landscapes, LLC

The wind that comes over the ridge near Rocks State Park has nothing to slow it down but stone walls and stubble field, and it packs a Jarrettsville driveway into a drift by first light. Winter mornings up here start with a quarter mile of that between the house and the road. Chesapeake Landscapes, LLC plows the quarter mile, opens the walk, and salts the turnaround so the afternoon thaw doesn't set into glass overnight. Once the fields green again the work turns to mowing, edging and trimming, with cleanups at the front and back of the season. It is plain, satisfying work: an open lane in February, a level lawn in June.
