About As You Like It Landscaping

Out where Bush Creek slips under the road and the hayfields go gold by July, Ijamsville keeps its summers in long green folds. As You Like It Landscaping mows those folds into order — stripes laid straight across a rolling yard, edges cut clean where turf meets gravel, trimmer work tucked in around fence posts and mailbox stones. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass, when the mower shuts off, the evening light comes low over the fields, and the lawn simply looks right. Spring opens with a cleanup, the raking out of everything winter left behind; October closes it with leaves down off the county's old oaks. This is lawn care for Ijamsville and the Frederick County farm country around it, one yard at a time.
