About I. Boyd Home Improvements

Snow in Hyattsville tends to arrive after everyone has gone to bed, and by two in the morning the alleys behind the houses are the quietest ground in Prince George's County. I. Boyd Home Improvements is out in that quiet, pushing back driveways, opening walkways and cutting a path to the street before the town wakes up. Storm work gets measured in doorways — how many people step outside at seven and find nothing in their way. Salt where the shade holds, a second pass where the plow berm rebuilds itself at the curb, then on to the next address. The route runs across Hyattsville and the little towns tucked in beside it.
