About Ferreras Landscape & Remodeling LLC

A hill that looks like nothing in June becomes a real question in February, and Hyattsville has enough of them — the rise up Ager Road, the pitch of a driveway off Hamilton Street — to keep a snow crew honest. Ferreras Landscape & Remodeling LLC plows, shovels and salts through the dark end of the night so that climb is possible before the first bus turns the corner. The measure of a good clearing is that nobody notices it: no spinning tires, no crust of ice hiding at the lip of the apron, just wet black asphalt drying in the low sun. Storms in this stretch of Prince George's County rarely announce themselves cleanly, so the answer is simply to be out in them. Hyattsville comes first, then the towns close enough to share the same sky.
