About Spence's Tree Service

A snowfall in Huntingtown is an occasion: rarer than up north, heavy on the tall oaks and tulip poplars, quick to turn the hilly side roads off Route 4 slick and silent. Spence's Tree Service takes on snow removal here, opening up driveways and footpaths when a winter storm comes up the Chesapeake into Calvert County. In the hush afterward, branches bowed low and the bay hidden behind a gray curtain, a cleared driveway is the first sign the day has opened up again. Getting the snow off before tires pack it into ice makes the rest of the week easier for everyone in the house.
