About Oaklawn Landscaping

Highland sits up on the roll of western Howard County, where Route 108 rises and dips past pasture fence and stands of old oak. Oaklawn Landscaping follows that ground all the way around the year: mowing and edging the long slopes in summer, trimming, mulching, and hauling off the leaves that come down heavy in these woods each October. When winter turns the hills slick, the same properties get plowed, shoveled and salted — a sloped country drive demands it before anyone tries to leave. There is a real pleasure in a hillside lawn cut evenly across the grade, and in a lane opened before the school buses run. The land here is anything but level; the work stays steady regardless.
