About A Cut Above Tree Service, LLP

Hampstead sits up on a Carroll County ridge with corn running to the horizon on either side and Main Street holding the line down the middle. By late August the front-yard maples along the pike are carrying every leaf they can hold, and a thunderstorm coming over the ridge will find the limb that has been waiting all summer. A Cut Above Tree Service, LLP gets there ahead of it — pruning out the heavy, poorly attached wood, trimming crowns back from the roof and the porch, removal when a tree has begun to lean toward the barn. When a storm does come through the farm lanes anyway, the crew clears the drive, the yard and the fence line. A place set right by evening, with the brush gone and the ground bare, is the work worth doing.
