About Patriot Tree Service

The Cumberland Valley runs wide and limestone-flat between the ridges here, and the February wind that pours down it finds every weak fork in a fence-line walnut. Hagerstown sits in the middle of that farm country, where a lane of old shade trees can be the only thing standing between a house and the weather. Patriot Tree Service works the valley on those terms — removal of the trunks that have split or hollowed, pruning to bring a crown back into balance, trimming along the drives and the pasture fences. After a storm sweeps off South Mountain and scatters limbs across the lane, they clear the road and the yard both, and the brush leaves with them. What follows is a drive you can use again and a lawn the sun can reach all the way down to.
