Hartland Earthworks

About Hartland Earthworks

Out on the open floor of the Cumberland Valley there is nothing to slow the wind, and a four-inch snow can stack two feet against a barn wall by morning. Hartland Earthworks meets that in Antrim Township with plow, shovel and salt — driveways opened end to end, turnarounds cut wide enough to actually turn around in, walks cleared where a blade cannot reach. Farm properties want a different kind of clearing than a suburban drive, and knowing the difference is most of the job. The payoff comes at first light, when the lane runs dark and straight through all that white. Snow removal serves Antrim Township, Greencastle and the farms along the township's western roads.
