About iPlow Snow Service

Three in the morning in Westmoreland County, and the ridges east of town have already handed their weather down onto Greensburg. iPlow Snow Service is up for it. The work is plowing: hillside driveways that tilt hard toward the street, parking lots that have to be open and walkable by the time the sky goes gray over the Laurel ridgeline, entries shoveled down to the pavement instead of down to a memory of it. There is a real pleasure in the last pass — the blade laying a clean straight margin against the asphalt, salt down, the whole place sitting ready before anyone has come outside to look. Winter in this corner of Pennsylvania does not arrive politely; it comes over the mountains and stays for months. Somebody has to meet it at the door every time.
