About Sam's Services LLC

Winter arrives out on Marley Neck sideways — freezing rain riding in off Curtis Creek, glazing every driveway between here and Riviera Beach before the evening shift is even over. Sam's Services LLC works the hours built around that: the late pass after dark, the scrape before first light, salt laid down on the walk so a drive out toward the water isn't a gamble. Snow removal on this peninsula is really a study in ice, and in knowing which low corner of a driveway holds meltwater until the temperature drops again. There is something plain and good about handing somebody back their own pavement — dark, clear, edges cut — while the storm is still talking overhead. Glen Burnie doesn't stop for weather, so the plow doesn't either.
