About All Star Contracting LLC

A nor'easter announces itself on Ritchie Highway before anywhere else in Glen Burnie — the signs start swinging, the state trucks come through, and then the parking lots go white all at once. All Star Contracting LLC does snow: plowing lots and drives, clearing walks down to the surface, spreading salt and de-icer at the entrances people actually use. Storms off the Chesapeake tend to land heavy and wet, which means pushing early and coming back, not waiting for the total to finish. Midnight to sunrise is the working window, so that when the first cars turn in off Route 2 the lanes are wide and the sidewalk is dark pavement again. Winter here is short on drama and long on repetition, and repetition is the job.
