AJ's Lawn Service

About AJ's Lawn Service

By noon on a July Saturday the air over Furnace Branch has gone thick enough to lean on, and the mowers are already three yards deep into the route. AJ's Lawn Service keeps Glen Burnie's summer on a rhythm — cut, trim, blow the clippings off the walk, run the stripes the same direction every visit so the lawn looks intentional from the street. Anne Arundel clay and a humid August make grass behave strangely; steady mowing and a sharp edge keep it honest. When the first plow-worthy storm lands, the same crew is out ahead of the school buses, opening driveways in the neighborhoods around Marley Station and salting the walks families use at dawn. Two seasons, one habit: show up, do the whole thing, sweep up after.
