About Rivera’s Landscaping

From the higher ground on the north side of Germantown you can pick out Sugarloaf on a clear winter day, small and blue on the horizon, and that is usually the quarter the weather comes from. Rivera's Landscaping watches that sky in January and moves the moment it changes — plowing driveways, shoveling walks, and spreading salt on the sheltered corners where ice sets up first. A driveway opened corner to corner, no shelf left at the apron, is a genuinely satisfying thing to stand and look at. Storms up here can drop a foot or a quarter inch of glaze, and both have to be handled the same night. Snow work for Germantown, taken one storm at a time.
