Wilson Lawn Services

About Wilson Lawn Services

There is a week in late October when the oaks along Muddy Branch let go all at once and Quince Orchard Road runs gold from shoulder to shoulder. Wilson Lawn Services is out in it, taking the last mowings of the year, edging the walks clean, and hauling the leaves off before they mat down and smother what is underneath. Then the light gets short and the work turns hard-edged: plowing driveways, shoveling steps and front walks, laying salt on the shaded stretches that glaze over first and give up last. Both halves of the year want the same thing from a crew, which is showing up on the day it matters — the morning after the storm, the Saturday the yard finally needs it. A drive opened before sunrise in January and a lawn cut square in June are the same promise kept twice.
