About Greater Outdoors Landscaping

Bohrer Park still carries the farm in its name, and the open acres at Summit Hall are a good reminder that Gaithersburg was hay and wheat country before it was anything else. Greater Outdoors Landscaping likes that sort of ground — long sweeps of mowing, clean edges around the walks, trimming and cleanups that make a wide lawn read as one surface instead of many. Winter flips the same instinct: plowing lots and drives in long deliberate passes, clearing the walkways, salting before the melt turns hard overnight. Open spaces punish sloppy lines, which is exactly why they are satisfying to do right. Green in July, bare and gritted in January, the geometry is the point.
