About East Coast Lawn Inc

Every August the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair fills the Gaithersburg fairgrounds with livestock, funnel cake and a grandstand, while the rest of town spends that same week trying to keep its grass alive in the humidity. East Coast Lawn Inc mows early, with dew still on the blades and the air not yet thickened, cutting high so the fescue holds moisture through the afternoon. Edging, string trimming, weed control and a feeding schedule matched to the season do the rest. Come the first cool snap the deck drops and the stripes return sharp. A well-kept lawn in a mid-Atlantic August is a small act of stubbornness, and it is worth the early start.
