About Amazing View

From the high ground west of Gaithersburg you can watch the land fold down toward Clopper Lake, and inside that fold is most of a year's work. Amazing View mows and edges through the green months — trimming, tidying the beds, hauling off the leaves when the oaks in Seneca Creek State Park finally let go in November. Then the work turns hard and cold: plowing drives, clearing walks, laying salt before the walkways glaze over. The two halves are really one habit, which is showing up when the ground changes. A lawn striped in July and a driveway swept bare in January are the same promise kept twice.
