Yard Services

About Yard Services

Funkstown is the kind of place where an afternoon walk leads past old stone houses and down to Antietam Creek, where weathered arches carry the National Pike over the water. Yard Services keeps lawns trim in this small Washington County town, mowing and tidying the yards along its short, storied streets. Late summer here runs humid and green, and grass along the creek bottoms thickens faster than anyone expects. A fresh cut, a neat border along the brick walk, a yard that suits a town this old: that is the plain, satisfying aim of the work.
