About JK Gardening Lawn & Garden Care

The carillon in Baker Park lets its first notes go out over the rooftops, and the day's mowing begins while the grass still holds dew. JK Gardening Lawn & Garden Care works the yards of Frederick the way a gardener works — slowly enough to see what each lawn wants, quickly enough to finish before the heat comes up off the pavement. Edges get cut straight along the walk, and clippings get carried off the concrete instead of left to scatter. Beds are weeded and re-bordered so the green has a clean line to press against. By afternoon the bells ring again and the block behind them looks combed and even. It is a small pleasure, a tidy lawn on an ordinary Tuesday, and it is the whole point.
