Snow reaches Fort Washington on its own terms — up from the south overnight, wet and heavy, laying itself across the ridge near Tantallon while every house is still dark. T&C Landscaping is out in that dark. Plow the driveway open, shovel the walk clear to the door, put salt where the slope wants to turn to glass, and be gone before the first headlights move on Indian Head Highway. Then the ground softens, the year turns, and the same trucks come back for mowing weather: grass cut on a schedule, edges cleaned up, borders trimmed straight through the long green months. Winter and summer ask completely different things of a yard here, and both are worth doing well.
