DarkStar Lawn Care

About DarkStar Lawn Care

Forestville was named for its woods, and the oaks still keep their word — long shade over the yards off Marlboro Pike, thin gold slipping through by evening. DarkStar Lawn Care works those late hours in July, when the heat finally lets go and fireflies come up out of the grass like sparks off a struck flint. A mown lawn looks different at dusk: the stripes hold the last light, the edge reads sharp as a chalk line, and the whole yard settles. That is the part worth doing well, week after week, until a house and its lawn look like they were made at the same time. Lawn care here, for the streets that run down toward the Beltway and back up into the trees.
