About Teter Landscaping Inc

Winter comes into Flintstone off Martin Mountain and Town Hill with real intent, and the snow that settles in the folds along Evitts Creek lingers long after the valleys have let theirs go. Teter Landscaping Inc plows this mountain country — steep drives, long gravel lanes, the switchbacked approaches western Maryland specializes in — and clears the walks and steps that go with them. Up here a storm can lay down inches while the highway below is only wet, so the work runs by elevation as much as by hour. Sand and salt where the grade demands it, and the shoulders of a drive opened wide so the next storm has somewhere to go. Coming down a ridge at dawn past a row of cleared driveways is about as good as this season gets.
