About Alejandro's Landscaping

Ellicott City was built on a hill that does not forgive ice. Old Main Street drops toward the water at a grade that turns a half inch of freezing rain into an event, and the same pitch runs up through the driveways above it. Alejandro's Landscaping plows and shovels that country in the dark hours — drives opened end to end, walks cleared down to the step, salt laid at the bottom of a slope where the runoff freezes twice in one night. When the thaw finally holds, the same trucks come back carrying mowers, and the work turns to cutting, trimming and cleanups from the first green flush of March to the last leaf in November. Two seasons, one crew, the same houses either way.
