About Arnolds Lawn Services

Down toward Charlestown the land runs out flat to the North East River, and at midday in high summer the glare off that water will make you squint through a whole afternoon. Arnolds Lawn Services mows through the heat around Elkton and the shore towns, taking the tall stuff down, running the trimmer along fence lines and posts, blowing the walks clear before the truck moves on. Grass near the water comes in thick and fast, especially in the days after one of July's hard rains. The part worth staying for is the last look back — a lot brought to one even height, lines straight, nothing left in the mulch beds. Then on to the next place, windows down.
