About Rockbridge Lawn Care

Stand under the stone arches of the Thomas Viaduct and you can hear two years at once — the river loud and shallow under the piers in July, the same water black and slow in January. Rockbridge Lawn Care keeps time with both. The warm half is mowing, trimming, edging and beds held to a clean line; the cold half is plowing, shoveling and de-icing the drives and walks of Elkridge before the day gets going. The pleasure of it is the crispness: an edge cut so cleanly along a front walk in June that it looks drawn, and that same walk swept bare and salted in February. One town, one crew, and a calendar that never quite closes.
