About Weems Brothers, Inc

When a nor'easter comes up the Chesapeake, Easton feels it as wind first — a raw push off the water at Easton Point that carries snow flat across the ground instead of down onto it. Weems Brothers, Inc works those nights and the mornings behind them: plowing driveways and parking areas, cutting entrances open, shoveling walks and steps down clean, and salting the surfaces that glaze once the wind finds them. Coastal snow here falls heavy and wet, closer to the freezing line than anything inland, so it gets moved while it is still moveable. Piles go where the runoff will not cross the pavement and set up again at nightfall. There is a plain pride in pavement showing dark all the way to the curb while the fields beyond are still white.
