About Woody Lawn Care

The old oaks and silver maples over Charlesmont throw a lot of shade, and shaded lawns want a different hand — cut a little higher, trimmed close around the roots, edged so the line still reads under the canopy. Woody Lawn Care takes those yards on a weekly round through the long humid Dundalk summer, when grass grows in fits and starts between thunderstorms. Bed mulching, hedge and shrub trimming, and the clippings blown off the walks all belong to the same visit. Come October the canopy pays it back all at once and the work becomes leaves, week after week, until the branches stand bare. Under big trees, tidy takes some doing — and it shows.
