About Mallards Land Care LLC

Out toward the marsh edge the phragmites go bronze in November and the ducks work the shallows off Back River, and the yards facing that water get the wind first. Mallards Land Care LLC keeps them through both halves of the year: mowing, trimming, edging and bed mulching from spring to the last warm week, then plowing, shoveling and ice control once the first real system tracks up the coast. Snow this close to the Chesapeake arrives sideways as often as straight down, which is why the drives get cleared wide and the walks get salted right up to the step. There's a plain pleasure in pulling away from a property at six in the morning with the pavement dark and the salt already working. Then April comes around and the mowers come back out.
