About Campbell Landscapes

North Point Road runs down the neck past marsh and old field toward the bay, and every autumn the light along it goes gold an hour earlier than it did the week before. Campbell Landscapes follows that turn of the year, finishing the season's mowing, trimming and edging while the ground is still soft, then trading blades for plows once the cold sets in off the Chesapeake. Snow on this peninsula arrives wet and sideways, filling driveways and drifting against garage doors overnight. Clearing it is a matter of getting there early, opening the drive to bare pavement, and salting the walk so nobody takes a step wrong in the dark. Then spring comes back around, and the same yards get their first clean cut of the year.
