Professional Lawns

About Professional Lawns

River fog lies in the Potomac bottoms below Dickerson well past sunrise in April, and when it finally lifts the grass has already jumped an inch overnight. Professional Lawns meets that spring flush with mowing on a tight schedule, edges recut where the winter blurred them, and trimming around the outbuildings and the long fence runs. Fertilization and weed control carry the turf through summer, and aeration with overseeding puts it back in shape once the heat breaks. The big farmhouse lawns out toward the Monocacy take time, and the reward is the whole sweep of one mown in a single even direction, right down to the last row. Spring and fall cleanups close the ends of the year, and then it begins again with the fog.
