Blough's Lawn Care

About Blough's Lawn Care

South of town, Watts Creek slips into the Choptank at Martinak State Park, and on summer evenings the light comes off that water in long amber bands. Blough's Lawn Care mows and trims lawns in Denton, where the river shapes the air: soft, humid and faintly marsh-scented by late afternoon. The season stretches long here, from the first flush of April growth to the cooler cuts of October, and each visit brings the grass back to an even height with tidy trim around trees, beds and mailboxes. A lawn finished just as the cicadas start up has a stillness to it, as though the evening itself were taking a breath. It is lawn care sized to a river town of shaded porches and open sky.
