About Reliable Craft Services

Summer comes late and leaves early on the Allegheny plateau, and in Deer Park it arrives as cool green meadows, clear spring water and nights that still call for a sweater in July. Reliable Craft Services keeps lawns in this Garrett County town, where an old railroad resort once drew visitors up the mountain for the same clean air. The growing season is short and urgent here, so the grass gets mowed while it is growing hardest, trimmed along porches and fence lines, and edged before the next cold front rides over the ridges. On a bright June afternoon, with cloud shadows sailing across the hayfields, a trimmed yard in Deer Park looks like a postcard of the mountains. Every cut counts in a season this brief.
