About Parks Excavating & Trucking Inc.

Snow doesn't reach Deale often, and when it does blow in off Herring Bay it comes wet, heavy and all at once. Parks Excavating & Trucking Inc. meets it with the same heavy equipment that moves earth in the warmer months, plowing driveways, lots and lanes in this Chesapeake waterfront town. Along Rockhold Creek the charter boats sit frosted at their slips, and the roads down to the water need opening before anyone can reach them. A storm like that calls for muscle more than finesse, and seeing a buried gravel lot pushed back to open ground is the payoff. By midmorning the gulls are back on the pilings and Deale is moving again.
