About Farrow's General Services, Inc.

The wind comes up over the ridge above Triadelphia in the evening, and by the time the first flakes reach Clarksville Pike, Dayton already knows what kind of night it is in for. Farrow's General Services starts then — plow down, headlights running along the fence line, opening driveways and lots while the accumulation is still shallow enough to stay ahead of. Return passes keep them open through the dark, and shoveling and salting take care of the walkways, the steps, and that strip of pavement out at the mailbox. Come daylight the drives read as dark ribbons through white fields, edges laid back where they belong. Snow removal is the work, and Dayton's open country gives it plenty to do.
