Absolute Landscapes

About Absolute Landscapes

Western Howard County keeps its farm bones, and Dayton sits right in them — Cattail Creek running down toward Triadelphia Reservoir, hayfields rolling away from Route 32, the June light going long and gold across them. Absolute Landscapes mows through those weeks, edging walks and drives to a crisp line, trimming close along fence posts and mailboxes, then feeding and overseeding so the turf carries into fall. Aeration and cleanups come at the turns of the year, with leaves hauled off before the first hard freeze. Then the work changes hands entirely: plowing driveways, clearing lots, shoveling and salting the walks while the reservoir lies flat and grey below the road. Two kinds of season, one crew, and the same attention given to a clean edge in July as to a cleared drive in January.
