Jambo Restorations

About Jambo Restorations

Some storms visit Darnestown twice: once as snow, and again after midnight, when the day's melt stiffens into glass across every slope and cul-de-sac. Jambo Restorations reads that second visit, going back over cleared drives with salt where the shade holds and the runoff pools at the curb. Plowing takes the bulk of it — pushing the banks back so a driveway between horse fences opens wide enough for two cars to pass. Walks and steps are shoveled down to the tread and then treated, because the last ten feet to the door decide the morning. Out where the porch lights sit far apart and the tree line along Sugarland Road stands black against the sky, snow removal is simply the business of getting people out safely and getting them home again.
