Baldwin Landscape

About Baldwin Landscape

In Darnestown the winter comes in over open ground — across the fields along Route 28, down the low bends where Seneca Creek slips under its bridges, with only fence lines and bare oaks to slow it. Baldwin Landscape keeps the early hours, plowing driveways and clearing lots while the sky is still the color of iron. Long farm lanes get opened end to end, and walkways are shoveled to the pavement and salted so the first step outside is a sure one. There is a plain rightness to a drive cut square and clean before the buses turn onto Darnestown Road. Snow removal is the whole of the work here, and it is done storm after storm until the ground goes soft again.
