About Portillo And Son Landscaping And Tree Service

The back roads east of Damascus — Hipsley Mill, the long bends toward Kings Valley and Etchison — run past pasture, hedgerow and the kind of open ground that tells you exactly what the weather is doing. Portillo And Son Landscaping And Tree Service works that country and the town alike, mowing and trimming through the growing season, cutting clean edges, laying mulch, and hauling off the spring and fall cleanups a big yard generates. When the ridge collects its first real snow, the same crew turns to plowing drives, clearing walkways and putting salt where the grade wants to hold ice. There is a plainness to the work that suits the landscape: nothing showy, just ground kept in good order month after month. Damascus is a place that notices the difference.
