About MCP Chimney & Masonry, Inc – Chimney Sweep, Repair & Fireplace Experts in Damascus, Maryland

Snow reaches Damascus before it reaches almost anywhere else in upper Montgomery County — the ridge sees to that, lifting Ridge Road high enough that a storm falling as rain down in Gaithersburg is still coming down white at the crossroads. MCP Chimney & Masonry, Inc works those hours, the ones between the last flake and the first alarm clock, when plow lights are the only color on the road. Driveways get opened wide, walkways scraped down to bare surface, salt laid where ice likes to hide at the foot of a slope. There is a particular satisfaction in a drive cleared so cleanly that the morning's first car leaves no wheel spin behind it. By the time the ridge goes pink over the fields, the work is already done and quiet.
