About Damascus Enterprises

The town lends this business its name, and the business returns the favor by keeping the town looking like itself. Damascus Enterprises mows, trims, and tidies yards through the warm half of the year, when Main Street's slow slope catches the afternoon sun and every green lawn along it seems to lean into the light. In autumn they gather the leaves; in winter they trade mower decks for plow blades and clear driveways, sidewalks, and lots before the roads glaze. It is straightforward work done with real attention, in a place small enough that you will pass yesterday's job on the way to today's. That closeness is the point — this is their town, block by block.
