P&P Treecare

About P&P Treecare

The Potomac's North Branch loops past Cumberland under big old shade — sycamores on the banks, maples in the yards, oaks holding the slopes. P&P Treecare does its lawn work in that shade, mowing and trimming grass that grows patient and cool beneath the canopy. Shaded turf is its own puzzle in an Appalachian town — thinner light, heavier leaf-fall — and the crew takes each yard on its own terms, cutting to the height the lawn wants and clearing what the branches let go. The reward is a place that feels tended without feeling tamed: green underfoot, limbs overhead, the water doing its slow work a few blocks away.
