About LaneScaping

Cumberland's weather arrives through the Narrows, that stone gap where Wills Mountain shoulders in close and the wind picks up speed on its way into town. LaneScaping works both sides of that arrival — summer mowing when the valley holds its green haze, snow removal when the gap sends winter down onto the streets. A lawn here earns its stripes against a backdrop of ridgelines, and the crew likes to cut so the lines run straight toward the mountains. In January the same hands are out before first light, clearing driveways while traffic on I-68 is still a string of headlights above town. It is simple work done with an eye for the finish: the edge sharp, the pavement black again, the morning easier than the night promised.
