All Services of Appalachia

About All Services of Appalachia

Summer mornings in Allegany County start with fog pooled in the hollows, and by the time it lifts off the ridgelines, All Services of Appalachia is already mowing. The name is the map: this is ridge-and-valley country, where a lawn earns its green against steep grades and stony ground. The work answers that terrain — straight passes on the flats, careful lines on the slopes, trim edges along fences that have leaned into the hillside for generations. There is a rhythm to it, mower and mountain trading sound across the valley. When the last pass is done and the fog is long gone, what's left is a yard that sits calm inside all that rugged country.
